The internationally
famous Fontainebleau Hotel located directly on the beach in Miami Beach, is now
offering a new tower of luxury condominiums, the Fontainebleau III. But the
real deals now are in the Fontainebleau II where many unit owner have put their
units on the market.
The Fontainebleau is
going through a MAJOR renovation. The property has been sold and the new owners
are bringing it back to the status it once enjoyed when it was the home to the
"Rat Pack."
A 400 million dollar
investment will totally change the resort. The two original buildings are being
gutted and a new resort is being built from the inside out. There will be 5
restaurants, 3 night clubs plus a theatre in the new resort. With 1800 luxury
rooms and suites conventions will flock to the new venue.
The real story for
buyers is that the renovated portion of the property is basically shut down
during this construction and will not reopen until 2008. Tower II, to the right,
is still open and is still doing a very good business. The main pool is
scheduled to be closed in early 2007. Some unit owners want to sell now and
others are waiting to enjoy the benefits of vacationing in a world class resort
just minutes from famous South Beach.
Many of the condos
on the market have been deeply discounted, many asking below their original
purchase price. But for the new owner who is willing to put up with the
construction the rewards will be very sweet. There is even a two story new
restaurant being built in the original tower looking directly to the beach. All
of the hotel amenities can be enjoyed by the condo owners at no additional cost
except food, drinks and the like.

have stayed in this world class resort and you can now own your own unit and
rent it out while you are away.
