First, Ed began a retail electronics business, grew it and then sold it four years later to a larger concern. Not idle for long, he soon started a mail order marketing company with his wife, Nancy. A multi-million dollar business, their company, Sparrow & Jacobs, Inc. developed products for real estate professionals.

It was during those years that Ed not only grew to love the real estate industry but gained valuable insight into its day-to-day operations. When Ed and Nancy sold Sparrow & Jacobs they began to increase their own real estate investing and subsequently bought and sold more than a dozen luxury properties in Florida and other states. In addition, Ed has been an active board member and treasurer of several homeowner associations.

Ed’s background is one-of-a-kind. He not only has a stellar acumen for growing successful businesses but Ed has had a colorful life in the theater! It’s not many people who would earn an MBA and then join a professional theater company but that’s just what he did after graduating from Rollins College. Ed eventually became associate producer at the third largest Equity theatre company in the U.S. His love of theater continued after moving to London where he taught at the private Royal Russell School. For three years he taught English and theater history and directed a variety of dramatic productions. His students also won several awards in competitions at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts.
